A very fun Christmas

It all began the weekend before Christmas. We went to a party w/
Justin's (dad's) side of the family. Addison had a blast playing with
all her little cousins. We had some good food (thank you) and great
company.

Then, after all the plates were clean, we headed downstairs
and Santa and Ms. Claus came to visit us. Addison was so
darling. She was so excited to see Santa and get the gift he
brought for her. (Addi's finger prints are on the camera lens,
and we didn't notice until after a while, so sorry for the blur).

Christmas Eve, Addison and I made some sugar cookies.

She was a cute little helper, but became bored too quickly
during the baking time.

Christmas Eve Grandma, Papa & Uncle Travis spent the night
w/ us.

Christmas Day we woke up to see the loot Santa left for us.
Addison got an indoor trampoline (because she LOVES to jump).
She also got a princess bike. My sweet hubby refinished some of
my childhood toys (a cabinet and a baby cradle) and we gave that
to Addison - and she loves them.

Papaw & Connie came over to watch Addi open her gifts.
Christmas night we went to my Nana & Bumpa's home.
Addison made out like a bandit there too!
Addison, Justin and baby Dylan.
Brooklyn, baby Dylan and Aunt Susie.

Nana and Bumpa hung up stockings for us over the fire. Inside
we found $50.00 in a book of $1.00 bills. It was fun!!
By the end of the night, Addison was pooped and
ready for bed. We left Nana & Bumpa's home about
midnight and drove home in a winter wonderland.

A perfect Christmas!!

Santa ~ Addi calls him "Ho Ho Ho"

We took Addison last week to see Santa. She did really good and wasn't too afraid as long as I was by her side. She and I went up to him and I put her on his lap. He asked what she wanted for Christmas and I don't think she really understood, so he said can I bring you a baby and she quickly said "yeah". He told her he had a candy cane for her in the basket. She got down and got 2 candy canes out, one for her and she turned back and gave the other to him. It was pretty sweet of her. She can be pretty thoughtful :)
We hope you all are enjoying your holiday season!

Super Slacker

Our beautiful Addison J.

I have been such a slacker. I have wanted to post about Thanksgiving and the in-law's stay with us for 2 weeks now...can we say slacker?? So, our month of November was really busy. My cousins had their baby boy Dylan on the 5th, so we visited him in Logan. We celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 6th, we had a great time. On the 19th, Justin's mom (Linda) came to town and stayed with us for two weeks. Jared (Justin's littlest brother) came to Utah to visit for Thanksgiving. The big Thanksgiving dinner was at my house at 1p.m., so that day was crazy. Justin's step-dad (Dan) came to visit the day after Thanksgiving (he had to work through the holiday). Addison just loved having her Rara, Papa and Uncle Jared here. She was so sweet and cute with them. All our company left the first week of December. It was a crazy, but fun time having family in town. We went visiting local family members every day or they would come over for lunch / dinner and games. Everyday was fun and very busy, but it all went by so fast. We really do miss Justin's mom, step-dad, brother and step-brother that live in Tulsa. We wish we could see them more than a few times a year. The next time we will see them is when they come into town and head down to Moab with us and my side of the family for our annual Jeep Safari. WE CAN'T WAIT!! See you all in the Spring! Here are a couple pics of our November. I didn't take any pics on Thanksgiving day (slacker), I'll have to see if Linda got any and post them later.

Halloween ~ 08

Addison & Justin's carved pumpkins.

Here are some pics of our fun Halloween. We spent most of Friday with my parents - because my dad is leaving for the Philippines today and will be gone for 3 weeks. After dinner, we trick-or-treated a couple neighbors houses, then we went to our church Harvest Party. It was so fun. They had food, candy, fun games for the kids and fellowship for us grown ups. We invited Aunt Sandy, Steffaun and Eli to go too. All the kids had a blast!
