Flatts Concert

I won tickets on the radio for Rascal Flatts concert. Justin and I went and had a great time! Our seats were awesome!! There was the main stage, then around the people sitting on the floor there was a square stage (cat walk) type thing. We were right by the corner of the stage, like 20 feet away from them, close enought to see the sequins on Gary's jeans....aahhhh. =)

Jessica Simpson opened - she looked great.

Such an awesome guitarist.

A lot of their band is from Utah.

Jay - he was hilarious.

Gary - such a great voice!

Their encore and finale was one of the best I've

ever seen. Such a great country group!!

Happy Happy Bday mom & the Jazz game

The 17th was my mom's 55 bday. Wow, she is such an amazing person, mother and friend. I hope she had a wonderful day and has a wonderful year ahead. To celebrate, we went to the Jazz game. It was way fun, although we missed Travis (my brother) who had class he couldn't miss.

We took trax to the ESA. Addison really enjoys riding on the "train".

Romantic Dinner for 3

Our Valentines Day was just wonderful this year (other than my hubby had to work until 5:30) it was perfect!

Let us start with last Thursday. Justin was home with Addison all day and they had a wonderful time. He wanted to spend the day with her on a little daddy daughter date. They plowed the driveway and played around on the 4 wheeler, then he took her sledding. The pics are a little dark (the sun was hiding all day).


He pulled her up this big hill.

Then they rode down on the sled.

She laughed and wanted to go
again and again.

Then, because Justin was off
we delivered our Valentines to the family.

Nana was making brownies, Addison
licked the frosting clean.

V day, Addison and I visited w/

family and played together around the house.

Vday evening-candle lit dinner. I made browned butter w/

mizithra cheese pasta, garlic bread, salad and broccoli. We used

wine glasses and had heart shaped punch ice cubes w/ Sprite.

Addison ate and ate, she loved the pasta.

And she thought she was pretty cool

drinking out of a wine glass.

We gave each other cards. And Justin and I got a

gym membership for us to go work out together!

Addison got a princess book.

And a cupid Mr. Potato head.

I gave Justin an Affliction shirt. He's wanted one

for about 8 months now, so I finally broke down and

spent $60 on a t-shirt, that's right $60, can you believe it.

Justin threw down silk rose petals and little heart shaped boxes

from the stairs to our room, to the tub. I'll leave out all the gushy

details, but in each box was a "coupon" or things he will do / give

to me as I redeem them. (i.e. a pedicure, massage, family trip to

the zoo, etc.) It was so sweet and very creative of him.

I love him so very much!! Thanks babe for a wonderful lovers day!

Micky Mouse Playhouse ~ fun, fun, fun!!

ON TRAX aka THE TRAIN- SHE LOVED IT!

We finally braved up and decided to take Addison to a show at the ESA. We have been talking about taking her to see disney on ice or any kid friendly show, but always thought she was too little. Well, now at nearly 2 1/2 we took her to see Mickey Mouse Playhouse. It was like 4 of her favirite shows from the Disney channel. She was so cute and had such a good time! She danced, sang and clapped through the whole show.

Addison, ringing in the New Year in style!

Just a few days after Christmas, we headed to Idaho to stay in a
cabin, do some snowmobilling, visit w/ family & friends, and just
relax. We were there for 4 days and had a wonderful time
surrounded by those we love.

This was Justin's 3rd time on a snowmobile and now he's ready to
buy one and go riding w/ the guys every Sunday, I say we will see
about that...haha.
